A $1 DECISION CAN MAKE A LIFE-CHANGING DIFFERENCE
December 15, 2011

What is $1 worth nowadays? Practically not much right? It´s worth is so symbolical that if you give it as a tip, the receiver might feel insulted. If you don´t agree try giving it as a tip next time and watch the reaction. However in some cases it takes only one insignificant dollar to change the course of events that marks your life, only one dollar makes the difference in what you will do and receive. And in the case of Powerball, $1 is enough to make you a millionaire or not. State lottery

Not only do Powerball tickets cost $1 (that is until the new implementations take place in January 2012) but there is a special feature that is called Power Play so for an extra dollar you can have the chance of multiplying your winnings. Lotteries

Jose Antonetti plays the lottery and last Sunday, he printed the lottery numbers from his computer, gave it to his his wife, and asked her to check his tickets. Then he went to take a nap.

There Jose was, dozing off, feeling nice and comfortable in bed, when the screaming started. When you are in that dozing off stage you practically don´t know what is happening, you are in a sort of limbo until it dawns on you that, well something is happening. Jose’s wife, who was checking his lottery tickets, found out that they were winners! One of his tickets matched 5 numbers in Powerball.

“My wife started calling my name and told me I won $200,000,” he said. “I told her that I played the Power Play option, so it must be worth more.” Surely this is the type of big differences that only one dollar can make, by buying the Power Play option, his ticket that was worth $200,000 originally now has multiplied into a whole one million dollars.

Jose Antonetti was awakened from his nap to find out that he was a $1 million winner. Not a bad way to wake up, don’t you think?

At the time of his win, Jose Antonetti was 79-years-old and living in Havre de Grace, Maryland, which is just outside of Baltimore. He said that he planned to use the money to pay off his mortgage and credit cards and, also, to take a trip to Florida to visit his family.

This is actually the lesson for today, do not look down upon a $1 bill, it represents a tiny fraction but at anytime it can multiply and the essence is the same: a dollar is a dollar and it is the base of any life-changing amount that you will want to have in your life to make it more comfortable.
