The Pennsylvania Lottery is now providing a service which will deliver Lottery news and winning numbers directly to mobile phones through text messages. Making it easier for players to have all the information they need about their favorite games and also to check out if they won.
“Following our debut in social media and the introduction of our mobile website this past summer, text messages are our newest tool to help on-the-go players stay connected with the Lottery,” said Todd Rucci, Lottery’s executive director. Lottery winning numbers
Those who subscribe can receive alerts about winning numbers, promotional offers, instant game announcements and jackpot alerts. Players can customize the text alerts they receive based on game and jackpot level. In addition to providing automated winning number and jackpot messages, the text service enables players to be the first to learn of new games and special offers from the Lottery.
To subscribe to Lottery text message alerts, players need to visit the lottery´s website and visit and join the VIP Players club. It is free to join and and they will also find an online forum through which they can receive the latest Lottery news.
The Lottery does not charge for these alerts however depending on your phone plan, standard text message rates and data charges may apply. Players are encouraged to review their wireless service plans and consult with service providers before subscribing to Lottery texts.

Three is a Charm for Iowa

The Kwik Stop will receive a $5,000 bonus from the lottery for selling the jackpot-winning ticket. The winning numbers that came out in Saturday’s drawing were: 5-12-16-23-24 and Hot Ball 8. The ticket sold in Waterloo matched all six numbers.
