June 7, 2011

The Arkansas Lottery Commission today agreed to offer raises to two of their workers and heard comments from the lottery director about a potential reorganization that would lead to creating some new positions. Lottery numbers.

The commission chose to increase chief legal counsel Bishop Woosley’s salary from $107,100 to $115,644 and advertising director Joanna Bunten’s salary from $65,845 to $79,082.

The state Office of Personnel Management suggested the augment because both employees were being paid less than the levels established by state guiding principles. Woosley experienced a promotion to be director of procurement a few years ago; Bunten has never been in another position while working with the lottery. Lottery checker.
