THE LEGACY OF HELPING OTHERS
December 12, 2011

We find our true friends in times of crisis and despair, they are the ones who are there for you when you cannot see the silver lining of the sky no matter how hard you try. They are with you in times of illness and despair, scarcity and heart-breaks. When you are in a tight spot that is the fire that separates your real friends and those who are there just because. And after this you can really get to know if who you can really count on. Mega lottery

Phillip Withem was in a very tight spot a few years ago. He had a kidney failure and was in much need of a kidney transplant. However there was no successful match with a right donor, the whole picture was really very gloomy. While searching for a donor, he underwent kidney dialysis three times a week. Powerball lottery

Life was tough for Phillip. But while he was sick, he was blessed in that his good friends stepped up and helped him, as good friends should.

Just when he was going through all of this hardship, Phillip won the lottery, $5 million from Ohio Lottery. Winning the lottery is what people daydream about, it is what everybody wants. And no doubt, winning the lottery is great, but you definitely don’t get to enjoy it to the fullest when you’re sick, as Phillip was.

Still, Phillip Withem did get to enjoy his winnings in a way. See, when people step up to help you, you’d love to be able to return the favor if you could. Prior to winning the lottery, there was not much Phillip could do to return the favor. But then he won millions, so it was now possible. And, being able to help people made Phillip happy. At least he was able to enjoy his winnings in that way.

“I wanna help people because I love it and it makes me feel good,” Phillip said after winning the lottery. He also planned to give money to charities.

Phillip Withem won the lottery in June of 2011. When he picked up his check, he said that the fact that he’s a millionaire still hadn’t sunk in. I fact, he said that it wouldn’t sink in for the rest of his life. And this is exactly what happened, because Phillip died on August 2011, just about two months after winning the lottery.

Maybe Phillip couldn´t get to enjoy his win to the fullest extent, but he was surely happy to be able to give back to all of those who helped him and were by his side every step of the way during such a hard time. Hopefully, Phillip´s sincere wish to help others was carried out and charities were benefited with his good intention to reach out to all of those who as him, have suffered life-changing illnesses.
